Hey friends and followers.

So, I'm still alive!  That's a good thing.  I haven't made any updates recently, because I haven't made anything new.  I live in a pretty decent sized town that, once upon a time, had 4 really good jewelry stores that did everything:  Custom jewelry designing, jewelry repair, watch repair, sold retail jewelry, bought scrap gold and silver from the public, etc....However, in the last 6 months alone:  One of those jewelers moved his store elsewhere, the other downsized tremendously, and the third is retiring.  None of them do jewelry or watch repair anymore, and only one of them does custom work and buys scrap gold.  My dad and I still do ALL of this.

Needless to say, being the only full service jewelers in southwest Kansas has expanded our clientele tremendously!  Not complaining really, but it has made it rather difficult to sit down and just design jewelry for the heck of it.  I also haven't been working late like I use to....That's because of another reason entirely that I refuse to get into...

I'm pretty much solely in charge of watch and jewelry repair for the business now.  I've become really good at it too.  So good, that I think the skills I've gained from it will benefit me greatly once I can start fabricating jewelry again.  

All I ask of you, my friends and followers, is not to forget about me.  I do plan to update again in the near future.  And when I do update, I hope to make new pieces of jewelry that will be better than ever before.
