Here's a flower lapel pin I designed out of sterling silver and copper material. The pin on back is actually 14k white gold, which makes for a stronger pin that's less likely to bend and break off over time.
The gemstone in the middle of the flower is a brownish green gem I found in my stock called andaluzite. I never used it before, so I thought now would be a good opportunity.
I didn't exactly model this flower pin off of any type of real flower, but I guess you can say it kind of resembles a daisy....in a way.
I absolutely love metal work, especially when it's done cleanly. I know it takes that extra time, but it's so worth it... and this piece is tops!
